Author Biography
Theodore C. Friedman, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science. He is the Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Molecular Medicine and Metabolism. Dr. Friedman is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
Winnie Yu is a freelance health writer. She has coauthored many books, including of The Everything Health Guide to Fibromyalgia. She has written features for numerous national magazines, including Weight Watchers, Fitness, Healthy Kids, Cooking Light, and Natural Health.
