He provides the reader with information on how to find the sites where artifacts may be found, and various techniques he has employed over the years while searching these sites. Basic information is provided to the reader on how to identify his finds. Tips on cataloging and display of artifacts is also included, as well as a chapter on how to identify fake artifacts. The writer photographs and describes his entire collection, making comments on particular items which are of interest. He also illustrates his limited flint-knapping skills.
Author Biography
Bill Anderson was born in 1944 to parents Chester and Mary Anderson, and grew up in the little town of Krebs in southeastern Oklahoma. Other works by him include: HOW TO FIND INDIAN ARTIFACTS, published in 1985, and a number of articles written for the INDIAN ARTIFACT MAGAZINE out of Turbotville, Pennsylvania. In the mid 1980's he also edited a newsletter entitled THE PALEO NEWSLETTER, and had a number of subscribers throughout the United States. Today Bill continues to live in Krebs with his wife Connie, and his cat Leo.
