Product Description

by Ida Mae Lambert (Author)

The grand jury had begun. Kyle Burton's fate was now in their hands; it could mean the difference between life and death for many of his Natrogenics clinic patients.

The raid on Natrogenic on February 2, 1995, prompted an FBI/FDA interrogation. Kyle willfully consented to the interrogation, without first consulting his attorney because he was convinced that the agents would soon realize that he had done nothing wrong and the ordeal would be put behind him. But that was nine months ago.

Dr. Burton, a naturopathic physician, had immeasurable success treating children with cystic fibrosis using alternative therapies. This success had threatened the very existence of Pulmonary Central Hospital, the cystic fibrosis treatment capital of the world. Burton would have to be stopped.

Frantic hospital staff contacted the FDA. Shortly thereafter, The FDA mandated that all naturopaths within a 300-mile radius of Pulmonary Central hospital be shut down. Natrogenics was in the path of that tornado.

During the raid on Natrogenics, clinic equipment and hundreds of patient files were confiscated, leaving Burton and his patients defenseless. Burton's efforts to get back his equipment and patient files were joined by frantic patients; all efforts proved futile. A forced closure could mean death to many of his patients. Would he be able to save his practice?
