Faith is the only method we have to connect with God. "Without Faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is." (Hebrews 11:6)
A walk of faith means we believe God's promises and step out in faith to do things that require us to set aside our own needs to meet the needs of others. When we do this, we become aligned with the truth and things become as clear as a glass of fresh spring water. It is in this place, that we shall ask and it shall be done unto us. Walking with God's Holy Spirit is a joy -- even thru trials, sorrows and losses - Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Apart from a walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, our lives are like cups of coffee, black, dark - full of the world which makes it impossible to experience the presence of God's Holy Spirit's even when He is with us.
Serving God has eternal rewards as well as blessings that are bestowed in extraordinary ways. Rewards occur when we walk in obedience to the Lord. When we choose to live according to His Word, miracles occur. Exercising faith after praying is what allows us to love another. Love and caring was at the root of my experience with 'the table' that produced a pivotal awakening moment of understanding for me and others.
