A young girl is committed by her family to Bedlam Asylum for treatment of wild fantasies. It is discovered that her visions are much more than figments of an over active imagination. Personally motivated to dive deeper into Alice's world, Dr. Braun begins working to harness her power, but instead unlocks the door to a more sinister reality. Written from Dr. Braun's perspective, we explore the treatment of young Alice in this prequel to Bedlam Stories: The Battle of Oz and Wonderland Begins.

Author Biography

Christine Converse has been a freelance writer since 1994. Publishing credits include dozens of magazine, video game strategy guides (Resident Evil, Blade Runner) and books. Raised in Northern California, she headed off to college fully intending to pursue a career in law. In 1992, her career path was forever altered from law to video game production and writing when given the opportunity to author a 300 page strategy guide for a hit PC game. For the next several years, she wrote magazine articles for top gaming magazines and published multiple guide books for games about very popular plumbers, zombie apocalypses, vampires with swords, aliens, replicants, jedi and more. Christine has been a fan of horror since her first viewing of Alien (and Ash's milky beheading) at the tender age of 4. She owes thanks to her mother for forever warping her into the person she is today. Therefore, she jumped at the chance to flesh out master horror director Pearry Teo's incredible visions of Oz and Wonderland's macabre collision. Today, Christine and her husband fully intend to warp their children in the same fashion and carry on their proud horror tradition.
