Corporal Jacobs came to the war in Vietnam in late 1967 from the DMZ in Korea. Little did the Brigade know that massive formations of North Vietnamese and Viet Cong soldiers were streaming toward them through the jungles and forests of the Central Highlands as they descended on coastal cities such as Hue and turned south toward Saigon in preparation for the brutal slaughter known as the Tet Offensive of 1968 that broke the back of America's war effort. One patrol, one night, one mistake, and Jacobs and his men will be on their own in a cataclysm of violence and confusion. Jacobs will find out if he is ready to lead men in combat, and for those of his team that survive, the price will be too high. Author Biography
Allen Tiffany is a retired Army Infantry Officer and has graduated from the Army's Airborne and Ranger schools and the Command and General Staff College. He has also earned his graduate degree in Creative Writing and has published a number of professional articles, a short story, has been a newspaper columnist, and he has been a fiction editor for a campus literature magazine. Allen was born in Kansas and has lived in Georgia, California, Texas and Singapore. When he is not working in the high-tech industry, he spends his time with his wife and four daughters or writing. He also enjoys long distance biking.
