Product Description

by Amy Seiffert (Author)

From the beginning, God created women and men equal in dignity, value, and worth. But our identity as daughters of God has been contested, both inside and outside of the church, and we're left wondering if we actually belong in the church--and the kingdom. Sharing the stories of the unsung women of the Bible, Amy Seiffert reveals how Jesus befriended, defended, healed, and depended upon women--and will do the same for you. Weaving biblical truth with thoughtful teaching, she empowers you to

- exchange fear and doubt for confidence and faith
- know a just God in the face of injustice
- stand firm in your dignity despite being marginalized
- tell a story of healing and hope through your scars
- use your unique gifts to show the world the goodness of God

As you read Scripture, you'll see women are not second-class: They're image-bearers of the Most High. Without women--without you--the fullness of God's image is incomplete. And in his Kingdom, you are seen, heard, known, and commissioned to bring his redeeming love and truth to this world.
