Author Biography

Karla Clark writes fiction for adults and children, and picture books are her passion. Her mission is to create stories to help children become their best selves. Karla has published five picture books in the You Be series. She lives in Rockford, Illinois, with her husband and son, where she also creates paper collages and digital art.

Gabby Zapata is an artist from Los Angeles, California, of Mexican and Colombian descent. She is a character designer for both feature animation and television. She has worked for various studios, including Disney, Paramount, Nickelodeon, and Dreamworks.
