About the Author Raven is a former teacher, personal trainer, carpenter, and heavy equipment operator who has always loved the power of words to engage a reader. She has been writing since her teens. Over the years, she has written for the women in her life. While serving in the military overseas, she found that writing was the escape she needed to get through the rough times. By the end of her second tour, she realized she needed to share her stories.
