Author Biography
Born and raised in the St. Louis area as the youngest of a divorced family. From as far back as I can remember through and including my adolescence, I was a practicing little deceiver, thief, a degenerate by all accounts, a great disappointment to my family as a whole and my mother in particular. Growing up I learned from those around me about God and Jesus, we celebrated Christmas and Easter understanding that it was about Jesus but was overran by the paganism of the holiday myths. I still was unaware of the true realization of whom and what God is and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. My family had a veneer of religion but it was more of a possibility than a reality. Many discussions were held during family gatherings discussing the various plausibility. I was very much into Horror movies and stories, especially the classics, seances, magic, etc. and found myself even experimenting and dabbling in these areas, in some cases actually experiencing some results in paranormal and psychic phenomenon, all the while there was this ever pervading mindset that God is. In other words the thought of God was always there even during all the experimentation and beliefs I was currently developing. But in September of 1981, on my bed I asked and prayed for the Lord Jesus Christ to save me. That one decision began to change my entire outlook on life, the reason of my existence, history, science, simply everything, and it has and is one heck of a mountainous terrain to climb. Buying my first bible and a set of audio tapes, I embarked on reading the Bible for the first time in my life. One portion of scripture I gravitated towards and immensely focused on was found in the books of ROMANS chapter 1 verses 18-20. It read that creation itself testifies to the invisible things of God, that His fingerprints His design, His word can be found all around us leaving us with no excuse of ignorance. That idea coupled with the teaching of scripture as to how the adversary perverts everything God creates, ordains, establishes, for the purpose to sew confusion, caused me to look at everything that I had learned, experienced or became familiar with, and call it into question. Since then I have discovered awesome truths that reveal the handiwork of Yahweh God and His divine authorship in the creation of the universe, the earth, ourselves, and His written word.
