Author Biography

Rebecca Lawton has authored seven books and contributed to many journals and anthologies. She began her daily writing practice as a guide on the Colorado and other rivers. Her honors include a Fulbright Award, Ellen Meloy Fund Award, Waterston Desert Writing Prize, and WILLA for Fiction. Jordan Rosenfeld is author of four other writing guides (A Writer's Guide to Persistence, Writing Deep Scenes, Make a Scene, and Writing the Intimate Character) as well as three novels, most recently Women in Red. She has published in the New York Times, Ozy, Pacific Standard, The Rumpus, Salon, the Weeklings, and many more.
