Author Biography

Dr. Lintzeris has been practicing wound care since 2008. He is board certified the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, and a Certified Wound Specialist by the American Board of Wound Management. Dr. Lintzeris received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his family medicine residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, FL., he went into private practice Family Medicine and Wound Care. He is currently in private practice in Goldsboro, NC and is the acting Medical Director for the Wayne Memorial Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center in Goldsboro. Dr. Lintzeris has been a preceptor for the Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant program. He is currently a clinical preceptor for East Carolina University Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program and a clinical preceptor for Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as the Region 5 Director of Student Medical Education at CUSOM.
