Author Biography

Michael Eckers is the author of three books on the Civil War at present. Having recently completed a 30 year career in Federal service, Michael now spends considerable time presenting talks on American military history in schools and to community groups throughout the Midwest. Michael resides in southern Minnesota and is proud to have served in the U S Navy during the Vietnam era.
