Wings of Ice also details his fight for survival after being mauled by a grizzly bear, struggling to remain alive after falling through the ice of a river in the middle of winter at minus forty-five degrees as well as losing power to his aircraft engine over a forest fire. The story is told with frankness, insight and humor that will provide the reader with many hours of enjoyment.

Mike Stultz lives with his wife Colleen, German shepherd Striker, and cat Shadow Ani in Spokane, Washington where he enjoys a relaxed life of fishing, hunting, woodworking and golf.
