Author Biography

The author is an avid outdoorsman and trap shooter who lives with his wife, Lois, in Kelowna, British Columbia. He was born in New Westminster, BC, and was very fortunate to spend his entire Communications career in BC. Since retirement, fly fishing and trap shooting (he won the 2004 British Columbia singles championship) has been his primary focus. He has also maintained monthly web site articles on fly tying since November 1996. (see www.tourcanada.com/outdoors.htm and click on fly tying). Don has enjoyed a lifetime of outdoor experiences and now wishes to share some of his more exciting fishing adventures in BC waters with you. He and his wife Lois, have three sons and one daughter and, at latest count, ten grand children!
