Author Biography

Lauren Coleman has dedicated her life to education for the last twelve years. She has served inner city communities as a classroom teacher and school administrator. Lauren has worked tirelessly to ensure that her students voices were heard and that their communities were involved in many important national conversations that are redefining the world we live in. After the many recent polarizing events that have became national headlines, Lauren decided to write her first series of children's books that can be used to facilitate healthy conversations about our society by highlighting the courageousness of the kids she has encountered along the way.
