This is a story about four animals chasing the wind to see where it is going. As they go along they ask the question "Who has seen the wind, today as it went merrily on its way". The hen, pig, dog and cat chase the wind through the green meadow, by the ducks in the pond, stopping to ask the Mr. Owl where the wind has gone.
