Product Description

by Richard Hayes Phillips (Author)

Since the publication of the three works by Mr. Phillips (informally referred to as the White Slave Children Trilogy), many records that were previously unavailable have come to light and been posted online; parish registers for London and for Essex are now complete, as are the parish registers for Wiltshire, Dorset, and Somerset, thus enabling the author to complete his search for the birth places of the children. He has also examined the newly indexed marriage and death records for Bristol; and a parish register from Ireland is included as well. In addition, dozens more captains of ships have been identified from colonial records of Virginia, and more than 40 indictments for kidnapping have been found in London court records. Finally, more than 100 children sold into servitude along the Delaware River have been identified, some of whom have been matched with their baptismal or marriage records.
