Author Biography

Roland V. Wahlgren, B.Sc. (University of British Columbia), M.A. (Carleton University, Ottawa), is a physical geographer and scientific & technical consultant. Consulting assignments have focused on innovative water supply technologies. He gained practical experience by designing and constructing, for a major client, drinking-water-from-air systems with associated water treatment systems. His peer-reviewed publications about atmospheric water vapour processing have been cited in academic papers and patents. His business career included fifteen years as a Managing Director of a family-owned industrial distribution firm. As an inventor, he was the Winning Solver for the InnoCentive Challenge: High throughput assay for determining degradation. He concentrates on adding value to the water-from-air industry with his businesses, Atmoswater Research (research, consultancy) and Canadian Dew Technologies Inc. (research & development, manufacturing)-websites www.atmoswater.com and www.candew.ca.
