This black and white book describes over seventy hikes in and around the Plymouth, MA, area and includes directions, a listing of the features, difficulty, and a description of the hike. Also for each hike there is a Google map with the hike overlaid, pictures taken on the hike and an approximate GPS address for finding the starting point. Many of the hikes include historical or descriptive background material on the features of the hike.
Author Biography
Born in Germany. Emigrated to US in1953. B. S. from University of Puget Sound and a PhD. from University of Hawaii. Retired after a career as Research Chemist with Dupont and Consultant with Shell Chemical Co. Lived in Germany, Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Wilmington, DE, West Chester, PA. Now enjoying retirement living with his wife Dorothy in The Pinehills in Plymouth, MA, hiking in the area, traveling, and visiting family and grandchildren in California, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
