Author Biography
James M. Tate has been writing poetry since the mid-1990s, when he discovered a simple, yet effective, style that worked for him.
These poems, essays, prose fragments, and written sketches were mostly constructed during the late 1990s and early 2000s, when he was a little younger, sadder, and tragically in need of describing isolation to himself and-with the exception of a few friends and even fewer strangers-himself alone.
Years have passed, and now, with great pleasure, he shares his work with you, the reader, who might be feeling the same way he once did and, frankly, still does at times.
What's left of a hundred-plus scribbled notebooks makes up this collection that, at one time, helped him get through each night and day.
