Product Description

Beautiful, traditional backstrap loom weaving is given new life in this unique cuff bracelet. Each bracelet is a piece of a handwoven huipil blouse that was once worn by a Mayan woman from the Guatemalan highlands. Pieces of these treasured textiles are used to make modern bohemian cuffs. Each bracelet is made by women at Manos Preciosas.

Manos Preciosas of Guatemala works with artisans to produce heritage crafts with modern designs. Manos Preciosas commits part of its profits to their micro loan program, which provides long-lasting and sustainable assistance to individuals in the communities where their artisans live and work. Through the program, artisans can earn fair wages, grow their businesses, and prosper, thus improving their lives and the lives of their children.

Due to the hand-crafted nature, each item is unique and colors will vary.
