Product Description

by Tracey Turner (Author), Jane Burnard (Author)

Go star-spotting, find out about cave-dwelling creatures, and discover a whole world of fascinating information about our planet in this gorgeously illustrated two-in-one book about the world.

Read one way, Up and Down focuses on what's up above us - clouds, stars, the Sun and Moon, and things that fly. Then flip the book and read it the other way to find out what's down beneath our feet - burrowing animals, the subway system, fossils, caves, and the Earth's core.

Colorful illustrations by Dawn Cooper bring a multitude of vivid scenes to life, from the inside of a volcano to birds flying in bright blue skies, while expert text from Jane Burnard and Tracey Turner engages the reader in learning all about the natural world.

Author Biography

Jane Burnard has worked as a children's books editor for many years, and more recently as a writer, translator, and gardener. Her first children's fiction title is published in 2021. Her first non-fiction title is Kingfisher's An Arctic Story.
