Product Description

Quickly diagnose car key chips and immobilizer faults with this compact ECU coil tester. Ideal for locksmiths and technicians, it verifies antenna coils, ignition lock loops and anti-theft responses before programming or repair.

Specifications:

  • Type: Coil Tester
  • Model Name: ECU Coil Tester
  • Material: ABS
  • Color: Red
  • Compatibility: Supports many chip-reading coil systems including select Mercedes-Benz (1998–2014), BMW (1995–2014) and Audi smart key systems
  • Package Included: 1 x ECU Coil Tester
  • High-concerned chemical: None

How it works: Place the sensor coil close to the ignition switch. Pass the key through the sensor coil, insert it into the ignition lock and turn the key. The tester monitors the vehicle anti-theft system and indicates chip detection with the LED.

Interpreting test results:

  • LED flashes then goes out: Anti-theft and chip key are functioning normally.
  • LED flashes for a long time: Chip key does not match the vehicle system — re-matching required.
  • No LED activity: Possible vehicle anti-theft system fault — inspect the vehicle anti-theft system.

Note: Due to lighting and screen differences, the item's color may vary slightly. Please allow 0.5–2 cm (0.2–0.8 in) differences due to manual measurement.
