Author Biography
Gina C. Edwards, SHRM-CP is an Author, Human Resources Consultant, Playwright, Inspirational Singer and Entrepreneur. She currently is employed as an HR Consultant with T.H. Easter Consulting, assisting this Minority Owned HR Firm with Executive Recruiting, Business Development and Project Management. Gina has served in the Human Resources field for 30 years in various roles including Information Technology Recruiter, Senior HR Generalist and an AVP - Senior Human Resources Business Partner. In 2014, Gina released her first inspirational book entitled "Imparting Eternity" which encourages the reader to discover their gifts and impart them into others. Gina also writes and produces gospel plays, the first play was entitled "Seasons of Life". In additional she wrote the inspirational songs that were sung in the plays. When Gina writes, speaks and teaches, she uses creative and thought provoking messages. Other publications where you can read her work include a compilation entitled "Memories of Mother" by XulonPress, 2007. Gina has also published various articles, in local magazines Heart 2 Hands Magazine and K.I.S.H. Magazine in 2013 and is featured in "Our Issues, His Virtues", in 2015. In her spare time she loves to read, travel, sing and spend time with her family. She believes if you have the faith, you can fulfill your dreams! She has a heart to encourage others to be their best and to fulfill their purpose. Gina is from Southern California, where she attended Loveland Church until she moved to the East Coast in 1993. Today, Gina serves as a Minister and Worship Leader at Word Alive Worship Center in Bear, DE, under the leadership of Pastors Anthony and Glenda Bailey. Gina has sat on various community boards; including Goldey Beacom Advisory Board, NAAAHR of Delaware and DE SHRM. Today she sits on the Delaware SHRM as the President-Elect and on the United Way HR Committee. Gina enjoys giving back to the community. She was an Adult Black Achiever Alumni through the YMCA and served as a Mentor through the United Way "Women in Action" Program. She received her Bachelors of Arts Degree at California State University in Business Administration. Currently she is pursuing her Master's Degree at Wilmington University in Organizational Leadership.
