Author Biography
Simon Pridmore is a professional scuba diver and itinerant writer. He is the author of a number of scuba diving and travel guides and lives, writes and plots further adventures in Bali, Indonesia.
Why the title "Under the Flight Path"? Simon used to work in colonial Hong Kong, flying back and forth frequently between Europe and Asia. He would gaze out of the window at the landscapes he was passing over and dream of doing the trip overland some day. At the time, political issues meant that independent travel through the countries he was passing over was impossible. Then the world changed.
