Author Biography
Laura M. heard about a Twelve Step program for her affliction from a near stranger at a computer convention. She immediately dismissed the caring stranger by saying, "I'm an atheist. That god stuff won't work for me." The stranger said she was an atheist as well and decided that her dog was her Higher Power. She wanted to be the person her dog thought she was. They each went our separate ways after the convention and Laura M. suffered for ten more years before finding the science that supports the spiritual experience.
