Author Biography
Harold Pearl Sheldon was born in Fair Haven, Vermont, on November 13, 1888. Sheldon was an expert in the field of firearms. In the 1930's and 40's he was the editor of the "Guns and Game" department of The Sportsman and subsequently for Country Life and Outdoors Magazine. He was also a contributor of hunting vignettes and anecdotes to other periodicals in the field.
