Author Biography
James Woods aka "Dat Yoga Dude" is a Southern California native who earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master's of Clinical Counseling from Mount St. Mary's University of Los Angeles. Along with his academic achievements, James is most proud of the mentoring and counseling work he does with children and families in the community. He is also a certified yoga instructor who teaches classes and hosts events and workshops on health & wellness. Davil Jackson is a native of San Bernardino, California, where he completed the majority of his schooling. He graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. It was during his college years that he first discovered his passion for youth development and, has since, worked with youth in various capacities. Davil's work is not limited to his own community, as he also travels across the county empowering youth and helping them navigate their way to achieving their goals. In addition, Davil does work as an illustrator and graphic artist.
