Newfoundland artist Margaret Ryall collects things or, as she would say, objects collect her. They are pieces of old houses and sheds, discarded fishing gear, wallpaper and pieces of rusty hardware, bits and pieces of people's homes, their work, their lives. These fragments that time has left behind, these remnants of a style of life quickly disappearing are her palette.
