Product Description

by Amin Mohammed (Author)

A satirical exploration of the condition of millions of African youths from the perspective of a tamed lion in an impoverished pride. The book aimed to delve directly into the root cause of the issues plaguing the African society, concluding with a stirring call to action aimed at galvanizing the average African youth to actively fight the real tragedy, their complete acceptance of the status quo.

African diversity is remarkable, yet the stories from country to country and from tribe to tribe are strikingly similar. It is a story of exploitation, disenchantment and unmet potential. The more we seem to differ, the more similar we are in terms our individual struggles with the society at large. These struggles are even more pronounced when it comes to the African youth.

In an increasingly connected world, African youths are becoming more aware of the power lying dormant within. A power that is a direct contrast to the reality, meaning they tend to get stuck in a deplorable chasm, between a will to achieve and an inability to.

Through increasingly limited opportunities, the African youth tries to apply themselves, but most African environments are static and the people in power are very resistant to change. That creates a dilemma that is recreated times over across our beloved continent.
