It has been well over a century since genealogy scholars had written the last notable books about the Crosby family and its true origins. My forty-five-year pursuit of determining the County Wexford Crosby/Crosbie ancestry and history is an attempt to solve a mystery that has been over fifteen hundred years in the making. Using some old family stories, public records research, and DNA analysis, I have summarised my research and findings into this book to help set the record straight about the history and origin of the Crosby/Crosbie family from Ireland, England, and Vermont.
