Author Biography
Mat Dry obtained his safari-guiding credentials from the Field Guide's Association of Southern Africa in 2007. He worked on Amakhala Game Reserve in South Africa for six months and then decided that he wanted to see more of Africa. In 2008, he joined one of Africa's premiere overlanding companies, Africa Travel Company. For nearly four years he worked with ATC as a guide in both East and Southern Africa until deciding to create his own company, TIA Safaris. Mat now divides his time between educating people about Africa in the States, and taking clients on the trips of their lives into the Africa he knows and loves.
