Janne was inspired to write the poem "There Are Cobwebs on Her Vagina" after working with a client who was healing the repressed sexual shame from her deeply religious background. She felt suffocated by her client's story and the stories of women around the world facing oppression, and wrote this poem to reclaim some of the power she believes belongs in the hands of all women.
