Who was the rich young ruler in the gospels?
"What must I do to inherit eternal life?" a rich young man asked Christ. Jesus told him to give away everything he had and to follow him, then the man walked away sad as he had many possessions. In this book the author explores this man's story from the gospels. Can we know his identity? Did he give away all he had? Is there more to know of this man? We come to some surprising conclusions that go beyond the story of this young man, overturning long held assumptions of the gospel narrative. There are clues that enlighten us to this man, particularly in the gospels of Mark, and John, who wrote much later. Here we shall find his hidden story.
We also explore similar hidden stories regarding Mary Magdalene and the house at Bethany, and also the relations of the family of Jesus, and the authorship of the letter to the Hebrews.
