Author Biography

Robert C. Ring (born 1983) grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and resides in Birmingham, Alabama. As a competitive gaming writer, sci-fi film expert, and lifelong fan of all imaginable geek culture mediums, Robert focuses his efforts on imparting the knowledge and passion he has developed for the things he so loves. His first book, "Sci-Fi Movie Freak," is a discussion of the most important science fiction films of all time and hit shelves in 2011. His second, "The Year in StarCraft II: 2011," is a record of the story of professional StarCraft II in 2011 and was released in March of 2012.
