Jake Meyer, a struggling attorney/private investigator and former special agent with the United States Treasury Department, is haunted by personal and professional tragedy. His job is to find the Pact or to eliminate Meyer and any opposition. But Jake is aided by a highly experienced female Mossad agent who has recently returned to work after suffering her own loss. She is to protect and assist Jake at all costs as a matter of national security. Along the way Jake will suffer self-doubt and betrayals that impede his ability to find the Pact and exorcise his past demons. Yet, to save himself and the world from chaos and disaster, Jake will have to break through the walls and regain a measure of trust in other human beings.
