Drawing from interviews with more than 200 young adults, as well as national survey of 1,880 twentysomethings, Tim Clydesdale and Kathleen Garces-Foley seek to change the way we view contemporary young adults, giving an accurate and refreshing understanding of their religious, spiritual, and secular lives.

Author Biography

Tim Clydesdale is Professor of Sociology at the College of New Jersey. He is the author of The Purposeful Graduate: Why Colleges Must Talk to Students about Vocation and The First Year Out: Understanding American Teens after High School.

Kathleen Garces-Foley is Professor of Religious Studies at Marymount University. She is the author of Crossing the Ethnic Divide: The Multiethnic Church on a Mission and editor of Death and Religion in a Changing World.
