Parfait-LaRouche is a long-time and avid reader and writer of fictional short stories and non fictional text.
In her debut novel, The Thunder of What You Are, Parfait-LaRouche tackles love, life, and mental health in the black community and hopes to continue the conversations around issues related to it such as access to affordable care, removing the stigma of mental illness and treatment inequality.
