Product Description

by Jayson Wells (Author)

"The Things We Know But Do Not Do - Insights into Parenting, Teaching and Coaching Today's Youth" draws a distinctive line in the sand when it comes to educating parents, athletes, and coaches about what's most important during your journey through sports. As a pro basketball player playing in six continents, Jayson Wells brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge and wise insight into your world so you, too, can gain a strong handle on how to conduct yourself with balance and maturity. His mission is crystal clear: Develop Extraordinary Winners.

Jayson Wells grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and never dreamed he would play professionally in twelve different countries after playing basketball at Indiana State University and earning a degree in Sport Management.

In 2011, Jayson retired from playing basketball and shifted his focus to teaching the game he loves. He teamed up with Nike to facilitate various skills academies throughout the country, and has also worked with Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving at their elite basketball camps. Determined to reach more youth globally, Jayson founded the Shooting Starz Academy, a youth development organization that provides character building in addition to athletic training.
