It started with one tiny kitten plagued with health issues who overcame them all. Smush was rescued by a kind-hearted vet student and then in foster care for 4 months until she found her forever home with her two moms and various other rescue pets. Smush is an advocate for animal welfare issues, promotes fostering and pet adoption and is a voice for authenticity and being your sassy self. The message is always the same: Never Give Up - on homeless animals or on yourself.
A portion of the sales of this book will be donated to our 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation.The Smush Foundation's mission is to raise money for animal welfare organizations, including animal shelters, rescue groups, and shelter medicine programs, and to provide education, instruction and support on marketing and photographing techniques designed to increase animal adoptions.
