Product Description

by Brian Narelle (Illustrator), Billie E. Lieberman (Author)

This is a collection of 'poem/tales' written in a style similar to Dr. Seuss. They are humorous, somewhat autobiographical, and filled with wonderful cartoon drawings that will appeal to middle-school aged children, as well as to adults who love poetry. These 'poem/tales' are appreciated best when read aloud. You will find this book to be a joyful way to share the love of rhythm and rhyme with your family.

Author Biography

Billie E. Lieberman always loved to write poetry and tell stories. Her major work 'Pathways to Literacy', published by McGraw-Hill Publishing Co., employs poetry to teach reading. Her education included a B.S. degree in Elementary Education, an M.S. degree in Reading and a Professional Diploma in Administration and Supervision. She worked as Director of Reading for two school districts in New York. Ms. Lieberman lives in East Lyme, Connecticut with her daughter and family. Loving poetry and telling stories developed into a collection of poem/tales. Reading them aloud makes for jolly family fare. A portion of sales from this book will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for the Cure.
