Christy and Eric Hastings are happy when Angela Wilkerson signs a contract to be their surrogate mother because Christy has a serious inherited gene that causes kidney problems and it could be passed on to her baby. Everything seems perfect when Angela finds she is going to have twin boys. The doctor discovers she has ovarian cancer. When the twins are born, the doctor removes her ovaries, and Angela decides she can not give her babies to Eric. A court battle ensues for custody of the twins.

Author Biography

Janet Glaser started writing in high school. She has had many short stories published in national magazines including Woman's Word and is the author of a book, Down Memory Lane - A Pictorial History of the St. Charles Missouri Area published by Curtis Media Corporation, Dallas, Texas. She worked for two newspapers writing articles and has self- published The Heart of a Clown, a memoir of her life, and two children's books. She also worked as Community Relations officer for the St. Charles County Sheriff Department where she had contact with television, radio and newspaper. She is retired in Lakeside, California, where she spends time writing novels and short stories.
