Scott Brennan was previously owner & president of CMIT Solutions of Fox Valley North, a franchised technology company serving businesses in Chicago's Far Northwest Suburbs from 2006-2014. For 8 years, Scott ran his franchise business from his home-based office, before selling his business for a fair profit. During that time, Scott was able to participate in those critical family events that many corporate executives miss out on. While operating his CMIT business, Scott won multiple national awards: Rookie of the Year 2007, Breakout Franchise of the year 2008, Franchise of the Year 2009, President's Award 2011 & 2013, Million Dollar Club Award Dec. 2013. Scott was also a dean of the Pacesetters peer collaboration group, participated as a member of the franchisee advisory council to help advise CMIT's CEO, and gave a keynote speech on "franchisee survival" at CMIT's 2014 national convention in New Orleans. Before purchasing a CMIT Solutions franchise business, Mr. Brennan worked for companies like Rewards Network, GE Financial Services, The Signature Group, MCI Telecommunications, and Time, Inc. Mr. Brennan earned his MBA from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in 1999, and holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Northern Illinois University. While at GE, Scott led a skunk-works team that developed a breakthrough national dining program, Dining à la Card, which was eventually purchased by Rewards Network. Scott was awarded the "Chairman's Challenge Award for Outstanding Intrapreneurship" for this successful skunk-works effort. Now, fifteen years after the sale of our corporate division, our skunk-works team still tells our BOLD success stories that drive me to my knees with laughter, and smile with pride.
