Product Description

by Ida Lantto Schroeder (Author), Thomas P. Schroeder (Editor)

Ida Lantto Schroeder was born on June 22, 1906 above the
Lantto store in West Albion, MN. She wrote down her childhood
memories at age 70 after being encouraged to do so over several years
by her son, Thomas P. Schroeder, and others. By the time she passed away on May 19,1996, one month before her 90th birthday, she had enjoyed a long and fruitful life, spanning from the horse and buggy days to the space age and cell phones. Her story delightfully captures several brief moments of those very early years.
