Author Biography

aged 83 discovered his ability to write late in life A retired Police Officer he first started by writing poetry. In 2011 his Poem 'The Medal' was selected by a panel including Carol Ann Duffy, the Poet Laureate for inclusion in the bestselling anthology 'Heroes: A hundred poems by the New Generation of War Poets.' His own publications to date are 'The Poetry Circle' a collection of verse both humorous and thought provoking and 'A Christmas Carol, ' A short play in verse based on Charles Dickens' story intended for use by Amateur Dramatic Groups and Schools. 'The Stainstone Witches' is his first collection of short stories
