Trained as a Mechanical Engineer at UC Berkeley in the '70s, Swaroop is firmly grounded in the sciences. Living as a monk for twenty years in the Ashram of the acclaimed ecumenical leader Sri Swami Satchidananda has yielded him unique spiritual understandings. His forty years of deep meditation practice have revealed to him profound insights into the nature of the universe that he eloquently shares in this book. Swaroop's life is intimately connected with nature. He founded The Spirit of Aloha Temple, a living heaven, in an eleven-acre oceanfront botanical garden and bird sanctuary on the north shore of Maui.
