Author Biography

Zack Twamley is a 24 year old history podcaster, history masters graduate and all round history enthusiast. His interests within history revolve mostly around the 17th-early 20th century period, but he has been known to dabble elsewhere. It is the diplomatic history: the diplomatic events, as well as the key figures, their struggles and their beliefs, which most interest Zack, and that is why "A Matter of Honor" was such a striking idea for him. In time, Zack hopes to release more books on history-related topics like these, but his first port of call is a PhD in History which he is currently applying for. If successful, it will enable Zack to do what he's always dreamed of: teach history at an academic level. You can find Zack's podcast When Diplomacy Fails online - it was here that he first experimented with teaching his listeners about a variety of wars which he felt were in need of proper coverage. It was also here that Zack's love of history and passion for teaching and learning first came to life.
