In 2019 I decided to publish an Author Blog. A place to escape where my thoughts could run free. A platform to connect with other readers and writers and just enjoy the craft. Writing is like breathing for me. It is essential for my life. It sort-of evolved into a diary for me. Unlike my poetry blog where I primarily just posted poetry, this blog was more about things that were on my mind, and in my heart. Various moments of trials, as well as celebrations. It has become a blessing to my everyday life, and I feel that I have grown in my craft since I began it.
I recently had the notion to take my blog and transform it into my next book. I have accumulated quite an array of pieces and wanted something tangible of it that I could leave to my kids along with my other titles. The Rooster Diaries is the end result of that notion and I am very happy and proud to share it. Enjoy. It is after all what life is all about.
