The mind and its phenomena of qualia and consciousness are non-material entities with information and information processing as their essence. They evolved into existence to help increase the survival chance of the species that possess them. How do those phenomenal manifestations, the seemingly non-physical manifestations - such as the vision of the red colour, the musical sound, and the happy emotion in our mind, occur from neural processes, which are just physical processes - how can physical processes give rise to those seemingly non-physical phenomenal manifestations? ...
